A heat advisory covers the Walt Disney World area today, Friday, July 10, 2026, as high humidity pushes afternoon heat index values up to 110 across east central Florida.
The National Weather Service Melbourne office issued the advisory at 12:16 a.m. EDT for 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. EDT. The advisory includes Orange and Osceola counties, which cover Walt Disney World and the main Orlando tourism corridor.

Bay Lake's current forecast calls for a high near 98, with heat index values as high as 106 before a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this evening.
Park visitors with long outdoor plans should build in air-conditioned breaks, watch for lightning delays, and check official park apps for entertainment, pool, transportation, or attraction changes if storms move through the area.
Update: Temporary fans were visible Friday afternoon at several outdoor Cast Member posts at Disney's Hollywood Studios, including merchandise carts in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and the Frozen Sing-Along entrance.
