Sassagoula River Cruise boat service between Disney's Old Key West Resort and Disney Springs closes Monday, July 20, and is expected to remain unavailable through early August while Walt Disney World completes refurbishment work along the route.
BlogMickey published Disney's guest notice Saturday. The closure affects only the Old Key West leg. The Sassagoula River Cruise also serves Disney's Port Orleans Resort and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort.
Walt Disney World bus service will continue between Old Key West and Disney Springs while the boats are unavailable. Disney has not announced a more specific reopening date.
