Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon was the Universal Studios Florida attraction that stopped during Saturday's power outage, prompting firefighters to help about 70 riders exit.
Rider Shayden Leite told WESH 2 News that the attraction jerked before playing repeated delay messages. Guests were later told they would be removed from the ride.
Universal Orlando said the attraction stopped after the outage affected parts of the resort. The Orlando Fire Department reported that riders remained upright in an air-conditioned section and had no medical complaints.
Firefighters completed the rescue within 30 minutes. The attraction had not been publicly identified when the rescue ended Saturday.
