Thunder Falls Terrace has closed at Universal Islands of Adventure after 27 years in the park's Jurassic Park land. The quick-service restaurant served its final guests July 19.

WDW News Today reported the closure after checking the restaurant Monday. Universal has also removed Thunder Falls Terrace and its menu from the current U.S. dining pages.

Thunder Falls Terrace opened with Islands of Adventure on May 28, 1999. Its rotisserie chicken, ribs, roasted pernil and rice bowls offered a break from the park's burger-and-pizza circuit, and the riverfront seating overlooked the final drop of Jurassic Park River Adventure.

Inside Universal reported in May that the location will become the park's signature full-service restaurant in early 2027. Universal has not announced its new name or menu. Mythos remains open in The Lost Continent until that area closes in 2027.
