Ryan Reynolds said another Deadpool movie will eventually happen while speaking at Fanatics Fest in New York. Marvel Studios has not announced a title, release date or production schedule.
Reynolds said future material could reach deeper into the comics, including stories by Deadpool co-creator Fabian Nicieza and writer Gerry Duggan. Hobby Nonsense captured his remarks during the July 16 through 19 event at the Javits Center.
His comments leave room for a team-up or ensemble movie. In April, Reynolds said he had written material but expected Deadpool to work as a supporting character instead of leading another solo film.
Deadpool & Wolverine opened in 2024 and brought Reynolds' version of Wade Wilson into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
