PlayStation has released a new story trailer for Marvel's Wolverine, putting Logan's work with Team X and Jean Grey at the center of his search for answers.
The trailer debuted alongside the game's San Diego Comic-Con panel. It flashes through Logan's old missions, a confrontation with Bolivar Trask and fights against Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, the Reavers and the Hand.
Jean Grey is one of Marvel's founding X-Men, a telepath and telekinetic whose comic history is closely tied to the Phoenix. Team X has usually been a covert unit connected to Logan's military past and the Weapon X program. Insomniac is using those ideas in its own continuity, so the game does not need to follow any one comic storyline.
Several enemies in the trailer come from different corners of Wolverine's publishing history. Omega Red is a mutant with life-draining tentacles. Lady Deathstrike has an adamantium skeleton and a longstanding grudge against Logan. Trask is best known as the creator of the mutant-hunting Sentinels.
Marvel's Wolverine launches Sept. 15, 2026, for PlayStation 5. Liam McIntyre performs Logan.
