VIP Tour Guides at Walt Disney World now have a new hat option for long days outside with their tour groups.

BlogMickey documented the new costume piece Friday at Magic Kingdom. The cap has a navy crown and tartan brim that matches the plaid trim on the guides' white shirts. Wearing it is optional.

The new cap joins an established costume built around red, green and navy tartan. Walt Disney World's current VIP Tours page uses an older promotional photo of a guide in a white brimmed hat, while BlogMickey's firsthand photo shows the new navy-and-plaid design.

Disney Private VIP Tours cost $450 to $950 per hour, depending on the season, with park admission sold separately. Each guide can lead a group of up to 10 guests through multiple parks during a customized day.
