Marvel did not identify which Ghost Rider Gosling will play. In the comics, the name has belonged to several characters. Johnny Blaze is a motorcycle stunt rider bound to the demon Zarathos, while Danny Ketch and Robbie Reyes have carried different versions of the Spirit of Vengeance.
Nicolas Cage played Johnny Blaze in two earlier Ghost Rider movies released by Sony. Gabriel Luna later played Robbie Reyes in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Levy previously directed Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine. A specific 2028 release date for Ghost Rider has not been announced.
Marvel Studios supplied the official title and casting announcement and Hall H video.
