Universal Epic Universe is scheduled to close at 8 p.m. on 28 of the 30 dates in September 2026. That is one hour earlier than the park's regular 9 p.m. close throughout August.
The regular September schedule is 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Early Park Admission begins at 9 a.m. on those dates.
Two September Dates Have Different Hours
September 23 runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with Early Park Admission at 9 a.m. September 29 runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with Early Park Admission at 8 a.m.
The full pattern is:
- September 1-22: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- September 23: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- September 24-28: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- September 29: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- September 30: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
What the Earlier Close Changes
The shift removes one public operating hour on most September nights compared with August. Guests planning dinner, portal hopping or repeat rides late in the day will have less time after sunset.
Universal Celestial Goodnight runs nightly at park close. On an 8 p.m. close, the nighttime finale should start around that earlier closing time. Entertainment schedules and park hours can change, so check the Universal Orlando app again before the visit.
