Coral Craze and Kelp Kraze will open at Knott's Soak City in 2027, adding two family raft attractions to the Buena Park waterpark.
Both rides are designed for rafts carrying up to five people. The new slide towers sit on opposite sides of a central conveyor, with shared access from a wooden loading platform.
Coral Craze at Knott's Soak City
Coral Craze will send five-person rafts through open-air Flying SAUCER elements. The large circular turns use steep banks to carry rafts around the outer wall before riders enter the next section of orange, peach and teal slide.
Kelp Kraze brings a Family HIVE slide
Kelp Kraze will be North America's first Family HIVE attraction. The lime-green and yellow slide passes through two translucent hive-shaped enclosures, where rafts move through tight turns and helix elements along the outer walls.
Riders will be able to see the surrounding waterpark through the translucent panels. Fish and kelp graphics continue inside the two enclosures.
Opening details
An exact 2027 opening date, height requirement and access details have not been announced.
Knott's Soak City is a separately gated 15-acre waterpark next to Knott's Berry Farm. Its current lineup has 23 speed, tube and body slides, plus Tidal Wave Bay, Sunset River and the Beach House play structure.
