Demolition has removed much of the Poseidon's Fury show building at Universal's Islands of Adventure.
Aerial photos taken Wednesday evening show the center of the structure reduced to rubble. Several exterior walls, sections of roof, and part of the stone-themed facade remain standing. Excavators are working inside the cleared footprint.
Work has moved beyond the former entrance
The show building demolition follows the earlier removal of the attraction's trident and changes across its Lost Continent plaza. The new aerial views document work inside the former attraction rather than another change at the entrance.
Poseidon's Fury closed permanently on May 10, 2023. Universal has not announced a replacement for the site.
