Vision and Scarlet Witch Marvel Legends Two-Pack Opens Preorders

Hasbro reached into a complicated corner of Avengers history for its latest comics-inspired set.

Hasbro has opened preorders for a Marvel Legends Vision and Scarlet Witch two-pack inspired by Avengers: The Crossing. The set costs $55.99 and is expected to ship around October 1.

Both figures use the six-inch Marvel Legends scale. Vision includes two alternate hands and a fixed plastic cape. Scarlet Witch includes two alternate hands with translucent magic effects. Hasbro limits orders to five sets.

The Crossing, briefly

Avengers: The Crossing was a 1995 crossover told across several Avengers titles. The story centered on conflict and manipulation inside the team, with Immortus and Kang tied to the larger plot. It is remembered as a particularly tangled period of Avengers continuity.

The figures borrow Vision and Scarlet Witch's looks from that era. The product announcement does not suggest that a screen adaptation is planned.
