The Muppets will join Disney Imagination Day when the free online program returns Wednesday, July 28, 2027.
Disney Imagination Campus opened registration Thursday with a video featuring Kermit the Frog and Ashley Eckstein. The four-hour session is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern.
The program is built for K-12 educators and other group leaders. Participants can request confirmation of attendance for professional-development requirements through their own organizations. Disney has not released the full 2027 agenda yet.
A virtual session for teachers and group leaders
Imagination Day is a remote professional-development program rather than an in-park event. That makes the 2027 session available to educators without a Disney trip attached to the day.
The Muppets fit the assignment rather neatly. Their projects have long mixed puppetry, writing, music and live performance, giving the program several ways to discuss how ideas move from a rough concept to something an audience can see.
