Test Track remained down at EPCOT at 11:15 a.m. EDT Sunday, Aug. 2. The ride had been unavailable since 8:35 a.m., shortly before the park's 9 a.m. general opening.
The closure follows a much longer interruption Saturday. Test Track went down at 10:15 a.m. and did not return until 7:40 p.m., leaving it unavailable for more than nine hours of the operating day.
Disney has not listed a cause or reopening estimate for Sunday's closure. CrowdLevels' current status feed marked the downtime as unplanned, and the site's freshness check was current when the status was reviewed.
The ride had recently restored its finale's sliding-door effect and began using all eight rows in its loading station. Those changes did not establish a reason for either weekend closure, and there is no indication that they are connected.
Guests heading across EPCOT should check the My Disney Experience app or the attraction entrance before making the walk. Test Track sits on the east side of World Discovery, and a long detour has very little horsepower.
