Disney Music Emporium will take the first orders for a new Pixar Hits vinyl set at D23 in Anaheim.
The vibrant yellow record collects songs and score highlights from Pixar's first 40 years, spanning Toy Story through Elemental. The reveal shows records and sleeves moving through production, including the printed track list on the back cover.
Orders will be accepted at the Disney Music booth, E13 in Hall B, during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event from August 14 through 16. Free standard shipping is included, which should save the album from a weekend in an Anaheim tote bag.
Forty years in one groove
The collection begins with “You've Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story. Other visible selections include “If I Didn't Have You” from Monsters, Inc., “Life Is a Highway” from Cars, “Married Life” from Up, “Remember Me” from Coco, “Nobody Like U” from Turning Red and “Steal the Show” from Elemental.
The D23 booth is the first confirmed order window.
