HamiKuma will appear at every Universal Studios theme park during the 2026 Halloween season, according to original reporting from Inside Universal. Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas is also part of the expanded lineup.
The zombie bear will make his Orlando meet-and-greet debut inside the Five & Dime store during Halloween Horror Nights 35 at Universal Studios Florida. Universal Studios Hollywood brings its HamiKuma greeting back during select afternoon and early evening hours on event nights.
Singapore joins the HamiKuma lineup
Universal Studios Singapore gets HamiKuma for the first time this fall. The character also returns to Universal Studios Japan and Universal Beijing Resort.
Universal Studios Japan introduced HamiKuma at Halloween Horror Nights in 2021. The 2026 lineup includes HamiKuma in the park's Halloween Horror Nights Academy stage show alongside HamiKuma Candy, HamiKuma Lolly and HamiKuma Pop.
A new Las Vegas show and merchandise date
Universal Horror Unleashed plans a new HamiKuma stage show throughout September and October. The permanent Las Vegas horror venue previously announced the seasonal return, while the new report adds the stage-show timing to the broader worldwide rollout.
An expanded HamiKuma merchandise line is scheduled to launch August 24.
