Adaptive sports return to Disney
The annual competition brings together wounded, ill and injured active-duty service members and veterans. The 2027 program includes 11 adaptive sports, including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, swimming, cycling and powerlifting.
Walt Disney World previously hosted the Warrior Games in 2022 and 2024 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The 2024 event included more than 200 athletes representing every branch of the U.S. military and Australia.
The August dates are the first full schedule Disney has announced for the 2027 return.
