Complete Guide to Disneyland Single Rider Lines 2026: All 11 Rides

Radiator Springs Racers has the highest current standby profile on Disneyland Resort's Single Rider list. The Falcon has the lowest, but its cockpit roles are a good reason to keep a first flight together.

Single Rider lets Disneyland Resort fill open seats with guests who agree to split from their party. A Cast Member directs guests to the designated queue, and the party is separated as rides need individual seats.

The current list has 11 attractions across both parks: six at Disney California Adventure and five at Disneyland Park. It is useful for repeat rides and long standby waits. It is a poor trade when the ride's seat, role, or first shared reveal is the point.

The tables use average posted standby waits from the latest 90-day CrowdLevels attraction profiles, rounded to one decimal minute. These are not Single Rider wait times. They show where splitting your party could matter, then the entrance sign and Cast Member decide what is available that day.

Your party will probably ride in different vehicles

  • Expect to splitThe queue fills remaining seats. Enter together if you want, but plan to ride with other guests.
  • Take the assigned seatImmediate boarding and seat choice are not guaranteed, and special seating requests may not be accommodated.
  • Meet every ride ruleSingle Riders still need to meet the attraction's minimum height and other boarding requirements.
  • Check the entranceParticipating attractions and waits can vary. Ask a Cast Member when the sign or queue is unclear.

Disneyland Resort's queue guidance treats Single Rider as a way to fill open seats. The shorter wait is the possible benefit. The separation is the price.

Radiator Springs Racers is the strongest time-saving candidate

Radiator Springs Racers averaged 77.4 posted standby minutes across the latest 90 days, the highest profile on the list. Space Mountain averaged 53.9 minutes, the highest Disneyland Park profile. For a repeat ride, those are the clearest places to consider splitting up.

Indiana Jones Adventure averaged 42.2 minutes, while Goofy's Sky School, Incredicoaster, WEB SLINGERS, Soarin' Over California, and Tiana's Bayou Adventure sat in the middle of the group. These choices make the most sense when everyone meets the rules and nobody needs a particular seat.

Keep the group together for the Falcon and first rides

Use Single Rider when...Use standby instead when...
Everyone has ridden before and wants a quick repeat. This is someone's first trip through the attraction.
The posted wait is high enough to justify splitting up.Standby is already short enough to keep the group together.
No one cares about a particular seat or role.Your group wants to run the Millennium Falcon cockpit together.
Everyone meets the height and boarding requirements.A child needs to stay with a specific adult.
You are fitting in one more ride before leaving the park. The preshow, reveal, or shared reaction is part of the plan.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run had the lowest average on the list at 23.9 minutes. A Single Rider can fill an open pilot, gunner, or engineer position, so the short standby line is often the better choice for a first flight. Save the Single Rider queue for a reride when the cockpit assignment matters less.

Rider Switch solves a different problem. It helps a group take turns when someone cannot ride or cannot wait outside alone. Single Rider is for eligible guests who accept being separated.

Disneyland Single Rider questions

Which Disneyland Resort rides have Single Rider?

The current list includes six rides at Disney California Adventure and five at Disneyland Park: Goofy's Sky School, Incredicoaster, Radiator Springs Racers, Grizzly River Run, WEB SLINGERS, Soarin' Over California, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Space Mountain, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and Indiana Jones Adventure.

Can two friends use Single Rider and sit together?

They can enter the designated queue together, but Disneyland fills remaining seats and separates the party. Friends should expect to ride with other guests.

Can Single Riders choose a seat or ride role?

No. Immediate boarding and seat choice are not guaranteed, and special seating requests may not be accommodated.

Do Single Riders still need to meet height requirements?

Yes. The queue does not change the attraction's minimum height or other boarding rules. Matterhorn is 42 inches, Space Mountain and Tiana's Bayou Adventure are 40 inches, and Indiana Jones Adventure is 46 inches, for example.

Does Single Rider always have a shorter wait?

No. The service is subject to availability, and participating attractions and wait times can vary during the day. Ask at the entrance before building a plan around it.
