Walt Disney Studios has crossed $4 billion at the 2026 worldwide box office, according to Deadline's August 11 report. Disney is the second studio to reach the mark this year, after Universal.
Toy Story 5 is the slate's biggest release at more than $1.09 billion worldwide. The Devil Wears Prada 2 is nearing $692 million, while Pixar's Hoppers is close to $390 million.
The Mandalorian and Grogu has added about $345 million worldwide. Disney's live-action Moana has reached roughly $281.5 million.
Several studios are carrying the total
The milestone spans releases from Pixar, 20th Century Studios, Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Pictures. It also arrives before several remaining 2026 titles complete their theatrical runs, so the total will continue to move.
The year has given Disney a billion-dollar animated sequel, a strong return for The Devil Wears Prada, and a new original Pixar film with a substantial worldwide audience. Woody and Buzz are still doing plenty of the heavy lifting.
