Disney+ will become the global streaming home of Formula E under a multi-year agreement beginning with the 2026/27 season. In the United States, every race will stream on both Disney+ and ESPN+.
The season includes 21 rounds across 13 events. It begins December 18 in Jeddah, with United States stops in Austin and Miami, and concludes July 25, 2027, in Tokyo.
Coverage will extend beyond the races. Disney's agreement includes preview and review shows, practice, qualifying, highlights and other Formula E programming.
A faster car enters the picture
The deal arrives as Formula E moves to its GEN4 car. The series says the new model can produce 600 kilowatts, or more than 815 horsepower, and accelerate from zero to 60 mph in about 1.8 seconds.
Disney+ will carry the series in most international markets as well. The exact availability may vary by country as the season approaches.
