Star Wars and Marvel Comics will meet in Star Wars/Marvel: Hope Assembles, a five-issue series launching in January 2027. Kevin Smith will write the crossover, with art by David Marquez.
The story begins when a spell shatters the boundaries between realities. Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo and Chewbacca encounter the Avengers and Spider-Man, while Doctor Doom joins forces with Darth Vader and the Empire.
This is the first crossover between the Star Wars universe and Earth-616, the main setting for much of Marvel's superhero publishing. It is a comics event, separate from the continuity of Marvel Studios films and Disney+ series.

A New Hope anniversary crossover
The series is part of the 50th anniversary celebration for Star Wars: A New Hope. After the January debut, the remaining four issues are scheduled to arrive monthly.
The first-issue covers place the two worlds side by side in several different combinations, from Luke with Captain America to Darth Vader with Doctor Doom and Thanos.
