A new Walt Disney Imagineering permit names Solotech for electrical work at Carousel of Progress, adding another contractor to the Magic Kingdom attraction's overhaul.

The filing does not describe the exact installation. Solotech works across audio, video, lighting and other show systems, all central parts of a rotating theater whose scenes move through four eras.

The filing lists the attraction's Tomorrowland address and carries a one-year expiration, the standard term for a Florida Notice of Commencement unless the document specifies otherwise.

Carousel of Progress remains closed during the project. The attraction is scheduled to reopen in 2027 with updated scenes and a Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic figure in the introduction.
