Georgia DOT will close one eastbound lane of Interstate 20 beside Six Flags Over Georgia from Friday night until early Sunday.
The continuous right-lane closure runs from Six Flags Parkway to Fulton Industrial Boulevard. It begins at 9 p.m. Friday, August 14, and ends at 5 a.m. Sunday, August 16.

The I-20 closure continues through Saturday
Six Flags Over Georgia is closed Friday and scheduled to open Saturday and Sunday. Drivers heading toward the amusement park on Saturday will pass the work zone while the lane closure remains active.
The work is part of the I-285/I-20 West Interchange Project. Georgia DOT's map places the closure along the park's northern edge, between the Six Flags Parkway and Fulton Industrial Boulevard interchanges.
