Disney released two new looks at the Coco attraction coming to Disney California Adventure. Guests will ride boats as Miguel performs amid marigolds, papel picado, fireworks and members of the Rivera family.

The Entrance Art Centers on Ernesto de la Cruz
The attraction's entrance will feature an outdoor courtyard with a bronze-colored Ernesto de la Cruz statue surrounded by marigolds and papel picado. A mission-style building stands behind the statue.
Construction Begins Backstage This Fall
The attraction will be built near Paradise Gardens Park and Pixar Pier, with backstage construction beginning in fall 2026. Disney has not announced an opening date.
The ride will follow Miguel into the land of the dead. Imagineers have cited Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion as inspirations and plan to use new Audio-Animatronics technology for the skeletal cast.
