Disney Cruise Line Reveals First Look at New Ship Class for 2029 UPDATE: Size Details

The new class will include three ships between Disney Wonder and Disney Wish in size, with the first ships scheduled for 2029.

A new class of Disney Cruise Line ships is scheduled to begin sailing in 2029.

Blueprints End With Two New Ships at Sea

The 42-second video moves from pencil sketches to digital hull studies and blueprints. Two ships with dark hulls, white superstructures and two red funnels sit beneath the words “A New Story of the Seas Begins 2029.”

Disney announced in 2024 that four additional cruise ships would join the fleet between 2027 and 2031. The first-look post did not name the ships or provide homeports, itineraries or booking dates.

Three Ships Will Fit Between Wonder and Wish

Update: The new class will include three ships, each larger than Disney Wonder but smaller than Disney Wish. Disney has not announced their names, homeports, itineraries or booking dates.
