Disney released Once A Princess, Always A Princess: A Disney Short Film on Disney+ and YouTube on August 17, opening this year's World Princess Week.
Alex Prager directed the film. It follows two girls in neighboring apartment buildings whose shared interest in Disney Princess stories starts a friendship. Years later, they share those stories with their daughters.
Once A Princess Is Streaming on Disney+ and YouTube
The short is available through its Disney+ title page and Disney's official YouTube channel. It is the centerpiece of World Princess Week, which runs through August 23.
The broader program includes new Disney+ shorts, product releases and Disney Princess wish-granting with Make-A-Wish.
Disney Princess Experience Will Feature Five Characters
Disney also confirmed that an immersive Disney Princess Experience is in development. The project will take guests through worlds inspired by Rapunzel, Tiana, Belle, Moana and Ariel, with music and interactive discoveries.
The company has not announced a location, opening date or ticket details. Disney first revealed the project during D23 and says more information will be posted on the Disney Princess Experience website.
