The Nine Days Acoustic Duo Brings “Absolutely” to Orlando
John Hampson and Brian Desveaux formed Nine Days on Long Island and built the band's early identity around the songs on The Madding Crowd. The 2000 album produced “Absolutely (Story of a Girl),” the bright pop-rock song that remains the group's best-known hit.
The Aug. 28 performance is a Nine Days Acoustic Duo show. Velvet Unplugged is a laid-back acoustic event in the same hotel lobby, with room for café-style tables and standing guests.
