Track for Sky Hawk has arrived at Six Flags Great America as the park builds toward the suspended family coaster’s 2027 opening.

Green track sections are staged beside the park’s existing wooden coasters. The project page bills Sky Hawk as the Midwest’s longest, tallest and fastest suspended family coaster.

Sky Hawk is the centerpiece of Camp Timber Trail, the Yukon Territory family area Six Flags Great America announced earlier this month. The larger project also includes two other new attractions, four rethemed rides and two existing park classics.
