Disney Cruise Line's 2026 back-to-school efforts include the first group of University of The Bahamas students to join Disney Programs, along with volunteer work supporting teachers and students in the communities where Disney ships sail.
Music education student Turquoise worked this summer at Walt Disney World Resort as a Quick Service Food and Beverage cast member. He later joined Disney Wish crew members at Supply Zone for Teachers in Brevard County, where volunteers prepared classroom supplies for local educators.
Disney Cruise Line's Back-to-School Work Spans Three Regions
In Florida, Disney Cruise Line crew members also assembled food packages with the Children's Hunger Project, set up learning spaces at the Jack & Jill Center in Broward County, and supported STEAM and conservation programs with local organizations.
The 2026 work continued in The Bahamas with school supplies, play-space projects, and school beautification efforts. In Alaska, Disney Wonder crew members visited Harborview Elementary in Juneau with activity bags, learning materials, snacks, and boot and glove dryers for students.

Disney Experiences said the new Cultural Exchange group extends Disney Cruise Line's relationship with the university through hospitality and leadership training. Turquoise's summer placement connected that work with the annual classroom-supply event, which Disney Cruise Line has supported since 2012.
