Disneyland’s Avengers Campus expansion has reached the connector between Avengers Campus and Cars Land. Walt Disney Imagineering’s August 25 episode includes footage of a new themed restroom building and says the walkway will open soon.
The Walkway Will Reconnect Avengers Campus and Cars Land
The passage is currently closed while Disney expands Avengers Campus for Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab. Guests can reach Cars Land through Performance Corridor or San Fransokyo Square, while Avengers Campus remains accessible through Performance Corridor or Hollywood Land.
Disney announced at D23 that the two lands will reconnect, but Disney has not given a public reopening date. The walkway remains closed, with guests routed through Performance Corridor, San Fransokyo Square, and Hollywood Land.
The Restroom Building Uses Two Theming Stories
On the Avengers side, the new building is styled as a Howard Stark-era bunker. Strategic Scientific Reserve graphics appear on the garage door and pavement near the connector.
The Cars-facing side takes its cue from an old mechanic shop turned rest stop. Its Pop n Patch logo references the repair stop from Cars, creating a visual transition between the two lands.
