Disney has filed a general-construction permit for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney's Hollywood Studios, according to an Orange County public-record entry identified by WDW News Today.

Document DOC4352S6815 is the county record entry for the filing. Disney's Sourcing & Procurement department is the filer, and Buena Vista Construction Company is the contractor. The scope covers labor, materials and/or electrical work for construction, and the permit carries a one-year term from its August 26, 2026 filing date.

The Filing Covers General Construction

The record does not identify a new attraction, a new ride system or a guest-facing change. A permit with this scope can cover maintenance or other building work, so the filing does not establish a new Muppets coaster project or explain the work planned at the attraction.

Disney has not announced what work the permit will fund. The public filing is the current development; any construction details would require a separate announcement or record.

The Muppets Coaster Retheme Arrived in May

Disney introduced the Muppets version on May 26, replacing the former Aerosmith theme. The Electric Mayhem concert setup appears in Disney's preview, which also supplies the first-party image used here.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is part of Disney's Hollywood Studios lineup. Its Hollywood Studios ride page and Disney's current attraction page provide guest-facing context, while the August 26 permit's purpose and schedule remain unannounced.
