Disneyland Paris welcomed 50 children from Make-A-Wish and their families for a three-day visit during World Princess Week, the resort reported Aug. 28.
The families came from across Europe. Make-A-Wish and Disneyland Paris invited them to the resort, where the visit began with a special welcome from Cinderella.
Cinderella Opened the Three-Day Visit
The children explored the Disney Parks and took part in character moments shaped around individual wishes and favorite Disney stories. The resort said the visit included meetings with Belle, Snow White, Vaiana and Ariel.
World of Frozen Joined the Park Visit
The itinerary also included World of Frozen, the new land at Disney Adventure World, where the children met Anna and Elsa. Disney VoluntEARS escorted the families during their stay.
Disneyland Paris Reports More Than 25,000 Granted Wishes
Disneyland Paris says it has granted more than 25,000 wishes since 1992. Disney and Make-A-Wish have worked together for more than 45 years, and the resort welcomes wish children from across Europe each year.
The visit took place during Disneyland Paris’s World Princess Week, which ran Aug. 15-23 in Disneyland Park. The event’s character encounters, entertainment, food and PhotoPass Magic Shot are detailed in CrowdLevels’ earlier World Princess Week report.
