Universal Orlando published an Aug. 27 Behind-the-Screams preview of the Sinners haunted house before Halloween Horror Nights 2026 begins August 28.
Sinners follows Smoke, Stack and Preacher Boy Sammie
The house draws from Ryan Coogler's film and places guests in the world of Smoke, Stack, Preacher Boy Sammie, Mary, Delta Slim, Annie and Remmick. Each character anchors part of the route through the house.
The story centers on the juke-joint setting and the vampires who threaten the people inside it. The house uses the film's music, characters and visual language as guests move from scene to scene.
Club Juke anchors the house's major scenes
The route includes a section called “The Surreal Montage,” with scenes tied to “I Lied to You” and “Rocky Road to Dublin.” Club Juke provides the setting as the characters' conflict escalates.
Halloween Horror Nights begins at Universal Orlando on August 28
Halloween Horror Nights 2026 begins August 28 at Universal Studios Florida and runs on select nights through November 1. Guests can find current ticket and visit-date details at Universal Orlando's official Halloween Horror Nights site.
