Walt Disney World will close the Disney Skyliner for refurbishment from Jan. 24 through Jan. 30, 2027. Complimentary bus service will be available while the gondolas are closed.

What the Closure Affects

The gondola system normally connects EPCOT’s International Gateway and Disney’s Hollywood Studios with Disney’s Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century and Riviera resorts. Guests making those trips during the refurbishment should plan to use buses instead.

The Skyliner does not serve Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom. Those parks already rely on other Walt Disney World transportation options, including buses.

When the Skyliner Reopens

The closure ends Jan. 30. Guests traveling around the changeover should check Disney’s transportation information before visiting.
