Universal Studios Japan will bring back Jurassic Park - The Ride in the Dark for the 2026 Halloween season. The nighttime boat experience is scheduled for Sept. 11 through Nov. 8.

Nighttime runs begin at 6:30 p.m.

The seasonal run uses two start times:

  • Sept. 11 through Oct. 9: 6:30 p.m. until the park closes.
  • Oct. 10 through Nov. 8: 6 p.m. until the park closes.

The attraction is listed at Jurassic Park - The Ride. Event times can change, and the park's closing time will determine the end of each night's window.

What the dark version changes

The nighttime version shifts into a blackout scenario after dinosaurs break loose and the power fails. The seasonal setup removes most of the usual visibility while the boat continues through the ride.
