The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge has returned to its original patio at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with a permanent awning replacing the umbrellas over the seating area.

The patio reopened on September 4, according to MickeyBlog’s on-site report. The lounge continued serving guests from a temporary courtyard beside the building during the work; Disney Food Blog also found the original patio open again.

New shade and refreshed patio seating

The new awning has hanging lights and ceiling fans. Other changes include redone pavement and refreshed red chair upholstery, as shown in WDW News Today’s September 4 photographs.

Disney’s official photographs shown here depict the patio before the refurbishment, when umbrellas shaded the tables.
