Four rides at Islands of Adventure reopened Sunday evening, September 6, after overlapping outages. The Incredible Hulk Coaster returned first around 7:12 p.m. EDT, followed by Doctor Doom's Fearfall around 7:22 p.m., Jurassic World VelociCoaster around 7:27 p.m. and Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure around 7:32 p.m.
The completed interruptions lasted:
- Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure: about 2 hours 10 minutes, from 5:22 to 7:32 p.m. EDT.
- Jurassic World VelociCoaster: about 2 hours 5 minutes, from 5:22 to 7:27 p.m.
- The Incredible Hulk Coaster: about 1 hour 50 minutes, from 5:22 to 7:12 p.m.
- Doctor Doom's Fearfall: about 2 hours 5 minutes, from 5:17 to 7:22 p.m.
VelociCoaster had another interruption from about 7:32 to 7:42 p.m., lasting roughly 10 minutes. Including three earlier interruptions, its cumulative downtime during regular park hours Sunday was about 3 hours 55 minutes. That total is separate from the 2-hour, 5-minute evening incident.
Hagrid's two earlier interruptions added about 20 minutes, bringing its daily downtime to roughly 2 hours 30 minutes. Hulk and Doctor Doom each had one interruption, so their daily totals matched the incident lengths above.
These durations and reopening times are based on CrowdLevels operating data. All four rides recorded operation during the final hour before the park's 9 p.m. EDT close.
