Gwenom and Spider-Man Noir lead the v58.1 update for Marvel Contest of Champions, with a new mystery quest called Shadow of a Doubt.
Gwenom’s fighting style links heavy attacks with symbiote buffs such as Undermine, Grit, Fury and Precision. Critical hits break armor, while her second special attack turns accumulated Spider-Sense buffs into corrosion damage.
In Shadow of a Doubt, Spider-Man Noir investigates a case of corruption and challenging opponents, with Gwenom adding to the mystery.
The Wakandan Challenge Rituals also bring five paths of increasing difficulty. Completing all five in one run awards a First Appearance 7-Star Cable.
The new lineup follows Agatha Harkness’s August addition.
