A September 7 visit to Disneyland found the Magic Carpet Brass Silk artwork inside Adventureland Bazaar being painted back in, with only part of the lettering and pattern visible.
The panel sits inside a secondary archway of the shop. It had been painted over late the prior week, then began to reappear as the work continued.
Partial repaint visible
Only the words “Magic Carpet” were painted in teal with yellow polka dots during the visit. The sketch appeared largely unchanged from before.
Adventureland Bazaar remains a Disneyland Park shop for apparel, accessories and gifts. The store is near Jungle Cruise and Indiana Jones Adventure in Adventureland.
The latest view captures work in progress. The repaint’s reason and completion date remain unclear.
