Great Tides Waterpark is now open to guests at Norwegian Cruise Line’s Great Stirrup Cay private island in the Bahamas. The official guest opening took place September 4, when Norwegian Luna called at the destination.

The waterpark covers nearly six acres and has 19 waterslides across four zones: Tidal Tower, Cliffside Cove, Wandering River and Splash Cay. The lineup includes a family slide for up to four guests, cliff jumps, an 800-plus-foot river and an eight-slide children’s splash zone.

A separate pass is required

Entry to Great Stirrup Cay remains complimentary for cruise guests, while Great Tides is an upgraded experience with an additional cost. Booked guests can log into MyNCL after completing a cruise reservation to check the day-pass price and availability.

Guests who did not pre-book can visit the Shore Excursion Desk during their sailing to ask about remaining passes. Availability is not guaranteed, and operating hours vary with the ship’s arrival and departure schedule.
