Thrill Glider is coming to Six Flags Magic Mountain in 2027, bringing two launches and five inversions to a suspended coaster built into the park’s mountainside.
The coaster will reach 107 feet tall and a top speed of 50 mph. Its 3,380-foot course runs for more than half a mile, with riders carried in suspended glider-style trains.
Two launches, five inversions
Six Flags claims Thrill Glider will be the world’s first suspended multi-launch thrillglider coaster. The company also claims records for the fastest, longest and tallest thrillglider, plus the most inversions in that category.
The five listed inversions are a wing-over, zero-g roll, over-banked stall turn, barrel roll and upward barrel roll. Two trains will each carry 16 passengers.
What to know for a 2027 visit
Riders will need to be at least 48 inches tall. Six Flags has set a 2027 opening target without a specific opening date.
Magic Mountain is selling 2027 season passes that include access to Thrill Glider when it opens. The offer also includes unlimited visits and free parking for the rest of 2026 and all of 2027.
