Fresh reddish-brown and turquoise paint is bringing color back to the Mexico Pavilion pyramid at EPCOT. By September 11, the brighter accents were visible on decorative reliefs and animal-shaped sculptures along the exterior.
The difference is easiest to spot behind the scaffolding. Restored details have stronger colors, while nearby sections still have a faded, muted finish.
Work around the pyramid has been underway for months. Scaffolding remains in place as the exterior refresh continues.
