Purple lights now trace the curved exterior and spires of Space Mountain Earthrise at Tokyo Disneyland. The glow outlines the new coaster against the night sky as construction continues in Tomorrowland.
Space Mountain Earthrise is scheduled to open in 2027. Its sweeping exterior takes inspiration from celestial bodies and natural forms, including trees and flowers.
Inside, a new ride system will carry guests through space with light and sound effects. The coaster’s vehicles will also have onboard audio.
