Ryman Arts will host a private screening of Disneyland Handcrafted and an Imagineering panel Sunday, September 27, at Bowers Museum in Santa Ana.

The ticketed fundraiser runs from 3 to 6:15 p.m. Pacific time. A cocktail reception opens the afternoon before the documentary screening and panel discussion.

Directed by Leslie Iwerks and produced by Mark Catalena, Disneyland Handcrafted follows the artists and craftspeople who built Disneyland. Tim O’Day will moderate the conversation with Catalena, former Walt Disney Imagineering executive Tom Morris and Imagineering creative producer Emo O’Brien.

Joshua You, a Ryman Arts alumnus and Walt Disney Imagineering concept artist, will introduce the discussion.

Tickets Start at $125

Guest tickets cost $125. At the September 13 check, 57 of 200 had been claimed. One of the six $350 Dreamer tickets had been claimed, while the $600 Creator Package was sold out. A separate $125 option sponsors admission for a Ryman Arts student or alumnus.

Proceeds support Ryman Arts’ tuition-free arts education, supplies, transportation, mentorship, and college and career guidance for young artists across Southern California.
