Scaffolding now covers nearly all of the front of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Metal framework stretches across the central facade and up to the roofline, with protective scrims hiding sections of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. The hotel sign remains visible from Sunset Boulevard, framed by scaffolding.

Photos taken September 11 show how much the structure has expanded across the front of the building. The original post is embedded below.

The ride is still operating

Guests can still ride Tower of Terror while the building is covered. CrowdLevels recorded it operating shortly before 7 p.m. EDT on September 13, and Disney continues to list daily operating hours for the attraction.

Scaffolding now stretches from the gift shop side across the front of the tower.
