Behind-the-scenes Imagineering material offers a potential look at scenes planned for the Coco boat ride now being developed for Disney California Adventure.
Eight expected moments appear in the material:
- Ernesto’s Mausoleum
- Land of the Dead
- “Un Poco Loco”
- Outside Ernesto’s Mansion
- “The World Es Mi Familia”
- Mansion Hallway
- Cenote
- Finale
The sequence is not an official scene list. The plans may have changed since the footage was recorded, and the eight names may not represent every part of the finished attraction.

Disney’s Confirmed Ride Story
The attraction will pick up one year after the original film. Its queue will begin near Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind in Pixar Pier and lead guests into a casa museo dedicated to Héctor Rivera’s music.
Guests will then board boats and travel through Miguel’s memories of the Land of the Dead. Disney has also said the ride will feature Miguel, Dante, Héctor and other characters, with Imagineers drawing inspiration from Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion.
