Universal has named 23 companies appointed to support construction of Universal United Kingdom Resort in Bedfordshire.
Universal published the first public list of delivery companies for the project as initial enabling work continues on the site.
The 23 Appointed Companies
The 23 companies span construction, engineering, design, consulting, legal work and other specialties. The document does not assign a specific contract value or work package to each company.

The update separately thanks 11 companies that supported the project through feasibility and planning. Universal said many of those firms continue to work on the resort and that further vendor and supplier updates will follow.
Enabling Work Is Underway
Universal United Kingdom Resort will be the first Universal-branded theme park and resort destination in the UK and Europe. Current plans call for several themed lands, a 500-room hotel, and a retail, dining and entertainment area.
Initial enabling work is underway. Later construction phases, individual lands and work-package schedules remain unannounced.
