Carol has begun playing ragtime piano at Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom. The 36-year Walt Disney World cast member recently took her place at the piano at the Main Street U.S.A. restaurant.
Her Disney performance history reaches back to Pleasure Island’s Comedy Warehouse in 1990. She has since played at EPCOT’s Rose & Crown Pub and festivals, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Fort Wilderness and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
In a September 16 Disney Parks Blog interview, Carol likened starting at Casey’s Corner to “the first day of school.” She said she had been learning new songs and revisiting old favorites before stepping into the role.
Guests may hear her play ragtime classics at Casey’s Corner. No recurring schedule or guaranteed appearance time for Carol is posted, so a visit should not hinge on catching a particular performance.
