More than 30 wish children and their families came together during Disney Dream’s visit to Cork. Disney Cruise Line and Make-A-Wish Ireland hosted their first gathering of wish families in Ireland, according to Disney Experiences’ account of the event.
The multi-day “A Disney Wish” experience began with a welcome celebration and included a special day aboard the ship. Families met Disney characters and took part in activities together.
Disney Cruise Line says it has helped grant nearly 6,000 wishes for children around the world since 2010. Make-A-Wish Ireland says it has granted more than 3,700 wishes since 1992, including 229 in 2025.
Disney Cruise Line held a similar event with Make-A-Wish Italia aboard Disney Fantasy last year, welcoming more than 35 families. The Cork gathering was a special event for wish families, rather than a bookable activity offered on Disney Dream sailings.
