Alien Swirling Saucers gets a new soundtrack on September 25, with Lilypad from Toy Story 5 taking over as DJ. The music will play on the ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and can also be heard by guests nearby in Toy Story Land.
The soundtrack, Lilypad’s Jams, includes new versions of Toy Story songs such as “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” along with tracks written for the attraction. Two of the new titles are “Pizza Planet Promo” and “Spin It Back, Lilypad.” Imagineers recorded the music in Nashville.
Between songs, Lilypad will introduce tracks, offer puzzles and show short “home videos” to guests outside the ride. Disney announced the change in a September 16 post.
